You heard it here first!
BicycleNorthwest's sources are reporting Chris Horner has signed with Rock and Republic Racing for 2008. We haven't confirmed any contract details but wanted to break the news here first for you, our loyal readers. Horner is a home grown favorite from Bend, Oregon.
2007 was the first year in the domestic pro peloton for the Rock and Republic cycling squad, but they are making a big push in 2008 signing serious gc contenders like Horner with support from well known cyclists Caesar Grajalez, Antonio Cruz, and Frankie Andreu as team director. The team owner, Michael Bell, has said his intent is to develop this team into the "most dominant team in U.S. cycling", and by the looks of it, he's off to a great start.

Tony Cruz is riding for BMC, not Rock. I think you mean Freddie Rodriquez. And they'll have Ollerenshaw, Creed, and Pena.
